While sculptural work is where my passion lies, thrown work has become an exercise in meditation, production, and constrained simplicity. Making circles is quite enjoyable. Something that matters deeply to me is how work feels in the hand, in its vitrified state as much as on the wheel. The tactile nature of this material should carry through. They want to be held.
